What started off being raised on home renovation shows on TV and rearranging furniture in my room monthly, turned into taking a year off from college to work as the lead designer on a new home build - during COVID, for my parents. There was no easing into it. It was a head first dive into the deep end of design and construction management. There has yet to be a client as challenging as my dad ;) And if I was able to get through that, I feel I can do anything.

Well Designed was founded at the completion of the Dove’s Nest Build. While studying in LA, I’d continue to freelance interior design work. Now, having graduated, and working in other fields, I choose to do several projects at a time in tandem with my work outside of design. 

Design is a labor of love, and it’s important to foster an honest relationship with any client I have the opportunity to work with. I am quite laid back and casual in nature when it comes to this work. I don’t make it more than it needs to be, giving the client the best result without spending thousands more.
